Another Successful Fete!

We would like to thank everyone who was involved in making this years Fete so successful!

We raised an amazing amount of over £4,000 for our school!

Sadly the extreme stormy weather meant that the fete had to come to an end earlier than expected, but we were able to get through all the events apart from the raffle. The raffle will be held after school in the junior hall on Monday 29th June 2009.

The winners of the raffle will be announced on this page, please check back.

We would once again like to thank all the helpers, sponsors and everyone that attended.

Summer Fete 27th June 2009!

It is that time of the year again! The Barley Lane Primary School Summer Fete! The school field will be packed with fun things to see and do from 1pm until 5:00pm.

All money raised will go to the school.

Duck Season!

Every year we have a female malard duck that lays her egg's in our school's quad.

This year were were amazed to find instead of one family of ducklings, we had three! As you can imagine our quad is now very crowded! But we are enjoying feeding them and watching them grow. More photos to follow!

Book Fair

Between 20th - 22nd May 2009 before school at 8:45am and after school at 3:30pm we are holding a book fair.

Prices start from just £1 per book and many books are on a buy one get one free offer!

Commission from all book sales will go to the school to buy new books.

Come down and buy a good read!

Fund Raising Week

Thank you to everyone who took part in our fund raising week (27th April 2009). The week was very successful and we managed to raise an outstanding £890 for our school! The activities which we enjoyed included bouncy castles, bike riding, space hoppers, face painting, and lots more! Even the teachers and staff joined in by holding a talent show for the whole school!
